The Vancouver Stealth dropped a disappointing 13-8 decision to the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday. The match could not have started worse for the men in black, as Calgary had stormed to an eight goal lead by the 24th minute.
Despite falling behind so convincingly, Vancouver never let up, leading the match in shots for most of the match. And while Calgary's lead was deserved, Vancouver had a goal mysteriously disallowed, and the Roughnecks final goal was scored on an empty net.
"Momentum is a big thing," said Roughnecks manager Curt Malawsky.
"You get a lead or you end up chasing from behind, and we were in that situation last weekend against Edmonton, so we know how hard it is to claw back."
The Stealth will be back at the Langley Events Centre on Saturday, March 29th, when they host the Buffalo Bandits. Click here to open our fullscreen slideshow.
